Obama issues global warming rules in January, gives GE an exemption in February | Timothy P. Carney | Beltway Confidential | Washington Examiner

I don't see the fairness here. If the rules are important (and I don't believe they are) then why grant waivers to special friends. This smacks of class priviledge, like we saw in communist Russia. The rules only apply to the hoi polloi.

Scientists ask Congress to put aside politics, take 'fresh look' at climate data - The Hill's E2-Wire

Inside the beltway rent seeking at its best. The so called scientific consensus. Who can shout the loudest.

Call me a skeptic.

Land fizzing like soda pop: farmer says CO2 injected underground is leaking - Winnipeg Free Press

Am I the only one that recognizes the absurdity here. Let's take a non pollutant gas which is NOT causing Global warming/freezing and inject it into the ground to create an unintended (but predictable) consequence which turns out to be a REAL problem.
